Otherworld II

Greetings, Travelers of the Otherworld

For the past few weeks, I've been experimenting with an idea that caught me by surprise: the creation of Otherworld II.

It all started when I received a physically accessible server. That changed everything. I realized I could link Otherworld directly to my server and even open the door for users to create and host their realms from home. I first tested the waters with a demo project called Junkbox. It was rough, but it proved what was possible. Once I saw the potential, I knew it was time to take things to the next level.

Otherworld II isn't just a sequel. It's a reimagining. I'm rebuilding the systems from the ground up, focusing on quality of life improvements and a user interface that's smoother, cleaner, and more intuitive.

Building Otherworld taught me how to create an MMORPG. With Otherworld II, I’m learning how to run and maintain one over time. This is a new phase in the journey, and it's just getting started.

Otherworld, I will continue to receive updates. The world you know and love isn't going anywhere.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, I’ll be sharing more updates and details. Keep an eye on my website:

Or, if that’s down:

Welcome to the next chapter.
